Uplanit was founded in Northern Norway as a technology company in 1999 specializing in the travel and outdoor industry. Since then, Uplanit has evolved into providing distribution and marketing service to companies in travel, music, coffee, nuts and outdoor industries.
Today Uplanit delivers network, distribution, consulting, market representation, market analysis, and project management services to companies in both Europe and North America.
In 2003 Uplanit opened it's North American office and showroom in cooperation with a number of it's clients such as Barrabes, Haglofs, KNC and Sugo Music (manufacturer of the National Geographic Music Series). As a result, Uplanit has established a number of trans-Atlantic distribution agreements.
Companies such as SUGO MUSIC, KENNFOODS USA, KENYA NUT COMPANY, BARRABES, PERTEX, HAGLOFS OUTDOOR EQUIPMENT, and THE SCANDINAVIAN OUTDOOR GROUP currently use Uplanit to better compete in the market-place.
